We’re delighted to announce a co-commission in 2012 with b-side CIC. We’ll be working with Artist Steve McPherson on a site responsive piece which explores the acoustic and emotional life of Weymouth and Portland.

Also pleased to announce that the Ex Lab2 commissioned Artists are Gary Stewart, Stefan Kueppers and Alice Angus of Proboscis-
“We are very excited to be commissioned for ExLab and are looking forward to working with the local community, PVA MediaLab, Bridport Arts Centre, Hive Beach Cafe, the National Trust and earth scientists. The coast at Hive Beach is an inspiring and rich mix of physical and social history, folklore, scientific knowledge (amateur and professional) and contemporary stories.” says Alice.

The ‘Story Weir’ project focuses on the area around Hive Beach, Burton Bradstock and we’ll be co-managing the commission with Bridport Arts Centre and working with the National Trust, the School of Geography [Exeter] and Hive Beach Cafe. Can’t wait to hear the stories emerge!
