SALT Residency 07-08
A three and a half minute evocation of the transformative world of fantasy tells of a boy coming to terms with his creative life.
Cart and Cars is a collaborative, experimental video work between movement artist Caroline Liljeström (Sweden), visual artist ivon oates (South Africa) and composer Wang Jue (China).
The aim of this project is to explore the relationship between live movement and performance for film. It includes animation and manipulation of images by the artists alongside footage of performers in a choreographed sequence using an experimental process-based method of development.
This project has been developed as part of the SALT residency programme at PVA MediaLab and will include live performances in Sweden and Gloucester.
