Launched as an artist-led initiative in 1996, PVA Media Lab has worked with, and supported, in excess of 250 artists across a wide range of disciplines. Through residency and bursary programmes such as LabCulture and Encrypt the organisation has been at the forefront of interdisciplinary and new media practice. Artists have had access to quality, real world mentoring, project development sessions, research, funding advice, studio space, high-end equipment access, networking opportunities and above all, time to play in a creative and supportive atmosphere.
