What is Lifelines?

Lifelines is a media project by young people from Ferndown and Sherborne in Dorset.

The young people wanted to make films about how family break-ups had affected their lives.  They had been left caring for siblings, supporting their parents through difficult times or struggling to deal with their own relationships because home life was so stressful.

They hoped that by making two films (a drama and a documentary) they could share their experiences with others, feel less alone and create a space where others could have their say.
